Need some challenging things to keep your mind growing?
Here are some STEAM challenges or resources to other challenges.

*Read the book, Comics: Easy as ABC! by Ivan Brunetti at this website,
https://www.toon-books.com/index.html .
* Create a comic that shows a typical day in your life living in quarantine or something to do with your life and the Covid-19 pandemic.
*Upcycling involves turning waste material or an unwanted product into a better-quality product. Find something in your home that can be upcycled. Find a use for coffee cans, unwanted furniture, old clothes, etc. There are many ideas online to help get you started.
*We’re all encouraged to stay home and only shop for necessities, so design and build something your family would like to have. Hear your family’s concerns, define their needs, and then draw up some proposals. After soliciting feedback from your family, build your design using things you can find around your home.
*Read a book. Any kind of book will do: picture book, novel, non-fiction, etc. Then, make a creation to represent something from the book using items you have in your home. For example: Make a boat out of Legos that Max sailed in Where the Wild Things Are.
*Let’s blanket our world with LOVE! Join Happy Heart Hunt or start something similar with your neighbors, family, and friends. https://kidsforpeaceglobal.org/happyhearthunt/
*Design a campaign to reach out to others. Many senior citizens are alone during this trying time. Reach out to your grandparents, older neighbors, or local nursing home to discover what you can do to brighten their day. What can youdo to help them during this time? Don’t know a senior? You and your family can join the Grandfriends at https://kidsforpeaceglobal.org/lovingletters/
